Love this place! Drop in for lunch and create your own burrito or chose one from the menu. Try the soup as it's like a meal with hardy portions!

Stop by on a Friday evening and the service is quick and the chili relleno was delicious and so was the chicken soup!

I asked for a carnitas el Rey wet burrito with green sauce not red sauce and they didn’t even make it wet until I asked them after receiving my burrito then when they made it wet the made it wet with the wrong sauce and there customer service I found extremely rude

This place has amazing value!! You can get the giant El Rey burrito for only $14 that is enough to fill 3 people up! Splitting this big burrito makes it so cheap and worth the price! I'd say their meats and flavors are mediocre but the price and amount of food you get makes this place a worth it location to try. Not to mention if you dine in, you get to add as much sauces as you want and make your own wet burrito.

If you're a fan of titos tacos, this place is for you. It's more authentic and their salsa and tacos disco dorados are similar to that of tito's. Other fine items on the menu include breakfast burritos, caldos, and just about everything! Prices are very fair and they even give you free homemade chips upon request.

It's a drive from where we live now, but when I used to live in Oxnard, it was my 2 go spot for mexican food ♡

I had bought albondigas and they weren't even fresh. They had to heat it up in the microwave and it was cold so I had them reheat it and it was still cold. I didn't like the fact they use the microwave to reheat food. That's not fresh food. The only good thing about this place is there posole. That's it. Other than that my grandma makes better food than this. I'm sorry.

Had the Pozole. Yummy. Wasn't sure if I needed to get something else to fill me up. Definitely did not and I didn't eat lunch. A full meal, lots of meat and hominy. Very hearty and delicious!

My friend, Nels, and I visited Burrito Express on Ventura Blvd. in Oxnard during our 2007/2008 search for the best low-price burritos in Oxnard. I assumed they would score low because this place is known for delivery and delivery places in my mind would have lower quality food like Dominoes does, but I was wrong. It was delicious. I had a burrito.

Awesome food! 1st time there today, I got the fajita burrito with chicken. After 6 hours I’m still full! They are cook to order, dine in and take out. Also with a pretty good salsa bar. Will definitely come back for more!

Good authentic mexican food. Fair prices. They have some unique dishes that most places don't have. The help was fast and pleasant and professional. There is a seperate salsa bar with authentic hot sauces and salsa. The carne asada is not sour like King Taco, it tastes home made. Their tortillas taste homemade also. Good spot.

Great food, one of the best places in the area. Only down side is...i think, not sure what.. again, i think... it's the oil they use makes my digestive system upset. Please...use a better kind of oil. So if I go once in a while no problem. Thank you Burrito Express!!!
